If you're ready to switch over to digital planning, here's what you'll need to get started!
If you're still not sure it's for you, read my post about all the benefits of switching.
This will be quick and to the point, if anyone has questions feel free to leave a comment.
Here's what you'll need to get started:
1. A tablet like an iPad or Galaxy Tab. You can still access your notes on your laptop or cell phone, but I would recommend using a tablet as your main form of note taking.
2. A stylus like an Apple Pencil to use to "write" in your planner or journal.
3. A note taking app like Goodnotes, Notability or Noteshelf. Goodnotes is my favorite since they are always rolling out new updates and functionalities, and it's definitely one of the most popular note taking apps out there.
4. A PDF template. Your note taking app, like Goodnotes, may come with free templates already. If you want more variety, there are thousands of templates on Etsy or in my shop. You can also have one completely designed and customized for your needs here.
Fun optional add ons:
Screen Protectors that feel like paper: If you like the feeling of writing on paper, there are tablet screen protectors that give you that feeling. A popular one that I use is Paperlike, and there are also a ton of others you can find that are cheaper and great quality on Amazon.
Pencil Grip Holders: If you want something soft and easier to write with, try a grip holder! I use this one from amazon for my apple pencil and it's lasted for years!
I will continue to update this post with any new add ons I find that are worthwhile.
In the meantime, feel free to reach out to me with any questions and I hope you have fun getting started!
